Series Observation
Retention Systems do not depend on a single tactic. Hope, uncertainty, scarcity, intermittent reward, obligation, fear, validation, contact restoration, and proof demands can operate separately or together to keep engagement active. The important observation is not whether one recognizable tactic appears, but whether repeated interactions continue to preserve attention, access, responsibility, or return behavior after the original issue might otherwise have ended.
